    Video Shows Jefferson Hills, PA, Fire Chief Diving out Window

    Fire Chief Brian Chalfant suffered extensive burns while rescuing a pregnant woman.

    Jefferson Hills Fire Chief Brian Chalfant risked his life to rescue a pregnant woman from a house fire last week.

    As soon as the chief heard a 19-year-old woman was trapped, he climbed a ladder and went into the second floor. He carried her and handed her off to a firefighter before diving out a window.

    Sabrina Boyle was pronounced dead at a local hospital, according to KDKA.

    The chief suffered severe burns to his left hand, triceps and both shoulders.

    The fire was so intense that it damaged his personal protective equipment
